At age 2 Krissie was put on the Ketogenic Diet to help control her seizures. It wasn't administered correctly, plus with a medicine that gave her aplastic anemia, she fell into a coma and was hospitalized. She stayed in the hospital for over a week, got better and we took her home. She consequently was taken off the diet at this age. It would be 5 years before we put her back on it and this time it was successful!
